The Westin Fort Lauderdale

One night stopover to break a long drive. Hotel is in good location close to I95. Loads of parking, very simple check in and nice bar / outside seating area. We didn’t use the pool but it was a very decent size with lots of sun beds. All staff we encountered at checkin, bar and breakfast were excellent.

You could have made it clearer that you would take a 50 dollar deposit against any damage, i was told I'd get it back when I checked out but that didn't happen, still not had the refund even though was no damage and i do have pictures to prove that!!

We arrived early around 10 am our room was not ready but they took our luggage and offered us a coupon for Breakfast, It was very good as were the burgers we ordered that night. Room was ready after we ate and large enough for our needs, comfy bedding and roll in shower and min fridge were appreciated. Staff was very nice

Beds, pillows, and staff were excellent. However, the property was dated and a little dingy. Everything above the lobby appeared overdue for complete renovation. Not what I have come to expect from Westin. The Westin "Signature Fragrance" was over-powering in the lobby.

I liked the room, although it was a little noisy beacuse of the highway. I found the hotel staff friendly at teh reception.
